Description

Ascaso Steel Trio Professional Two Group Coffee Machine

ASCASO build a range of high design, commercial and domestic espresso machines. Manufactured at a factory in Barcelona, owned and operated by the Ascaso family since 1962. The founder of the business, Jesus Ascaso, a man with an entrepreneurial spirit, was born in a mountain town in northern Spain. In 1950 he began work for a supplier of spare parts for espresso machines in Barcelona. Then in 1952 he joined Espanola, making parts for consumer espresso machines. In the 1950s espresso started to become popular in Spain and the rest of Europe, in Barcelona this popularity led to a budding industry. Providing original brand spare parts for espresso machines was expensive. Jesus Ascaso decided to supply parts for all brands, which led him to open his own parts factory in 1962, in Barcelona. Today more than 45 years later, ASCASO is still a family owned business, now selling its products in more than 50 different countries.
